Joke post: The pastor who accidentally terrified a young boy.

Today, we’re going to share an old joke with you that has recently resurfaced on social media. Over the last three days, it has managed to amass an impressive 95,000 shares on Facebook alone. We think it’s is so good you might just read it twice!

In the joke, a little boy becomes interested in one of plaques hanging on the church wall. However, he has no idea what any of it means. Feeling curious, he decides to ask the pastor about the plaque.

But, when the little boy gets an answer, something hilariously unexpected happens. I won’t spoil the rest, simply take a look below to see the whole joke.

One Sunday morning, the pastor noticed little Alex standing in the foyer of the church staring up at a large plaque. It was covered with names with small American flags mounted on either side of it.

The seven year old had been staring at the plaque for some time, so the pastor walked up, stood beside the little boy, and said quietly, “Good morning Alex.”

“Good morning Pastor,” he replied, still focused on the plaque. “Pastor, what is this?” he asked the pastor.

The pastor said, “Well, son, it’s a memorial to all the young men and women who died in the service.”

Soberly, they just stood together, staring at the large plaque. Finally, little Alex’s voice, barely audible and trembling with fear, asked “Which service, the 9:45 or the 11:15?”

Pass on the laughs. Share this joke with your friends and family.
