8-Year-old boy buys lunch for 295 kids after seeing a student denied a hot school lunch.
As 8-year-old, Cayden Taipalus, waited in the school lunch line, he witnessed something quite sad. One of his classmates was denied a hot meal simply because he didn’t have enough money on his lunch account.
While most kids would just shrug of the sad moment, Cayden immediately took action. With the help of his mother, Amber Melke-Peters, he launched a webpage that raises money for children who can’t afford lunch.
..The website, “Pay It Forward: No Kids Goes Hungry.”, has raised over $7000 dollars so far and provided students with over 300 lunches.
His kind gesture has warmed the hearts of people all across the United States. With all the bad things we see on the news, Cayden reminds of us all the good that is in the world.
