Joke post – The woman who went into labor during a power outage.
Today, we’re going to share an old joke with you that has recently resurfaced on social media. Over the last three days, it has managed to amass an impressive 85,000 shares on Facebook alone. We think it’s is so good you might just read it twice!
As one woman went into labor, something very annoying happened. The power suddenly went out and her paramedic could no longer see. Fortunately, her daughter, 3-year-old Kathleen, was happy to hold a flashlight while the paramedic did his job.
This little plan turned out to be a success. The woman wound up giving birth to a healthy little boy. While this may sound like the end to a completely unfunny moment, a few seconds later, something hilariously unexpected happens. Take a look below to see the whole joke.
Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to the call.
The house was very dark so the paramedic asked Kathleen, a 3-year-old girl, to hold a flashlight high over her mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby.
Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked. Heidi pushed and pushed and after a little while, little Connor was born.
The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom to get him to breathe. Connor began to cry.
The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-year-old what she thought about what she had just witnessed.
Kathleen quickly responded, “He shouldn’t have crawled in there in the first place. … Smack his butt again!”
