Mom lays down the law after her teen daughters refuse to listen to her.

Recently, Facebook user, Alice Velasquez, found herself in a very frustrating situation. After asking her teen daughters to clean their rooms multiple times, she found out that they completely ignored her. There was still a huge mess in each of their respective bedrooms.

Usually, Alice just stops asking and cleans up the mess. However, this time, she decided it was time to put an end to their disobedience. Alice came up with a punishment that’s so creative it actually went viral on Facebook.

“What do you do when you are DONE telling your teenage daughters to stop letting their room look like homeless people live there? You put everything (YES EVERYTHING) into plastic bags and you sell it back to them for $25 a bag (and they have to earn the money doing chores). The best part? The bags were collected as they were found in the room- random! So their $25 could buy a bag of dirty clothes, it could buy a bag of trash or it could buy their soccer gear” – Alice writes on Facebook.

While many people have applauded Alice for her parenting, some people have actually accused her of child abuse. They think that her punishment goes too far. Fortunately, experts such as Stacy Kaiser are dismissing these allegations as pure nonsense.
