When people are looking to buy a home, they take several different factors into account. Such as price, schools, neighborhood, distance from work, condition, etc. All of this is important to consider when making a possible life long purchase.

However, when Washington native, Sarah Sanders, bought her home, she only looked at one thing. The beautiful 100 year old cedar tree that stood in the front yard. The tree alone was enough to convince her to buy the house.

Unfortunately, over the years, her beloved tree slowly began to deteriorate. Large pieces started falling off and landing on the sidewalk. It became a serious safety hazard.

Naturally, the city of Everett ordered the tree to be cut down. Sarah was devastated by the news but her spirit wasn’t broken. She decided to make the best out of a sad situation and turn it into a positive one.

I won’t spoil what she did but I will say that it’s quite amazing! See the awesome idea for yourself. Check it out in the video below.
